Built in the early 18th century the Ludwigsburg Palace is today's imposing Baroque royal residence, Germany's largest palace complex preserved in its original form with a total of 452 rooms, standing in a park of 52 hectares. This impressive Baroque complex right in the heart of Ludwigsburg offers a whole range of possibilities: From confidential discussions to major conferences with an accompanying program.
Stuttgart's Palace Square is the vibrant heart of the city, bordered by the renaissance Old Palace and the baroque New Palace, within easy walking distance of many of the city's attractions. Palace Square is therefore Stuttgart's hub and an integral part of any stroll through town. Today the state government uses the New Palace for representational purposes, the origins of the Old Palace date back to a 10th-century moated castle.

Stuttgart-Marketing attracts Chinese tourists with mobile payment solutions and innovative marketing, paving the way to a "Chinese-friendly" Stuttgart. In the autumn of 2018 the Stuttgart-Marketing GmbH entered into a partnership with Wirecard, the specialist for digital financial technology, in order to establish Alipay and WeChat Pay in Stuttgart. In the meantime some 110 regional providers now accept these preferred mobile payment methods of Chinese tourists. The service is gaining additional momentum through marketing on popular online platforms, spotlighting Stuttgart even more as an attractive travel destination for visitors from China.
The number of event venues in the Stuttgart Region is continually expanding. New locations as well as modernised and extended event capacities have been added to the previous event portfolio. The Filderhalle Congress and Conference Centre close to Stuttgart Airport has been extended and now offers a new, multifunctional event room, increasing the total event area to 2,900 m². In direct proximity to the ICS International Congress Center Stuttgart / Messe Stuttgart trade fair centre and Stuttgart Airport, the Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart Messe & Congress is scheduled to open next year. Germany's first and only Jaz Hotel opened in Stuttgart. The lifestyle hotel is part of the 18-storey skyscraper "Cloud No.7" in the new inner-city area of the Europaviertel. By the year 2022 additional hotel projects with a total capacity of around 3,000 rooms will be realised in the Stuttgart Region.
