The youngest member of the Fleming’s Hotel family, Fleming’s Express, has been offering online check-in via the hotelbird app since early 2019. From now on, guests can check in via app from any location, open their room door via smartphone and check out online.
Hartmut Schröder, Managing Director of Fleming’s Hotels, is satisfied with the successful cooperation with the Munich-based technology company: “With this innovative technology from hotelbird, we offer our guests a significant added value which differentiates us from many other hotels. Due to our central location in Frankfurt, many business travellers are among our guests, whom we can particularly inspire with these time-saving services“. The online check-in is fast, flexible and convenient and can be done while on the road by app or via the web portal. Arriving at Fleming’s Express, guests can use the hotelbird app to go straight to their room, which can be opened using the digital key via Bluetooth technology.
Even without the app, checking in at Fleming’s Express Hotel is now faster and more flexible. Guests can scan the QR code on their booking confirmation at the check-in terminal in the hotel lobby and receive a key card. Also invoicing and check-out are simplified with the app: guests can use the app to process their payment and therefore choose easily between private and business invoice. Afterwards they can check out conveniently via app or web portal. After the successful start of the cooperation, further Fleming’s hotels will be equipped with hotelbird technology.
