The Convention Center Düsseldorf is a state-of-the-art conference and exhibition center right on the banks of the river Rhine. It comprises over 41 rooms with a capacity of up to 2,000 people in the largest room and exhibition space measuring 11,000 sqm. Through direct access to the premises of Messe Düsseldorf and the adjacent exhibition halls 1 and 3, its overall capacity can be expanded from 7,500 to 22,500 people. The two neighbouring exhibition halls boast additional exhibition space of 34,000 sqm. Whether virtual & hybrid events, general meetings, congresses, conventions, conferences, company presentations, exhibitions or workshops – the diverse range of facilities offers tailor-made space for every kind of event. Düsseldorf Airport, one of Germany’s largest airports, is only three kilometres away, and Düsseldorf Old Town with its internationally renowned “longest bar counter in the world” is just five kilometres away.

Room 1 – Auditorium
Room 1, one of the architectural highlights of the CCD Süd, is a state-of-the-art auditorium with an area of 1,059 sqm. The hall has a total capacity of 1,028 theatre-style seats or 478 classroom-style seats. Due to its size and configuration, the auditorium is especially suitable for large meetings, conventions, conferences and presentations. The unique spatial design and the lighting concept make it possible to illuminate the room in different colours at the push of a button and to use the walls as projection surfaces. The room’s ultra-modern lighting system can also simulate daylight, allowing for a fatigue-free event. The adjacent foyer, which overlooks the Rhine, provides ample space for relaxed breaks or exhibitions.
Stadthalle CCD – Hall XY
Planners seeking a very special environment for their event will find the perfect surroundings in the Stadthalle at the CCD Congress Center Düsseldorf. This multipurpose hall with a total floor area of 2,327 sqm can be partitioned along its longitudinal axis into two equal-sized areas measuring 1,133 sqm each (Hall X and Hall X). Due to its size and configuration, the Stadthalle is especially suitable for general meetings, conventions, exhibitions, company events, gala evenings and show events. With the seating arranged longitudinally, 2,000 theatre-style seats, 1,364 classroom-style seats or 1,270 banquet-style seats are available for events. Two futuristic light squares in the ceiling provide ample daylight and can be blacked out, if required. The foyer area surrounding the hall is suffused with natural light and overlooks the Rhine. It provides sufficient space for relaxed breaks and attractive gala receptions, but can also be used for larger exhibitions accompanying conventions.
Foyer Ground Floor – Hall 1
Due to its modern architecture, the glazed façade and elaborate lighting installations the 2,140 sqm light-flooded foyer in exhibition hall 1 provides the perfect backdrop for extraordinary events. The foyer looks out on a larger-than-life, 20 m high cantilevered roof of translucent fibre glass fabric spanning 7,800 sqm.
Room 14
Located on the first floor of Exhibition Hall 1, Room 14 offers impressive vistas of the modern foyer of the Hall 1 opened in 2019. It holds up to 191 persons on a surface area of 199 sqm. The room is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and can be subdivided into two rooms measuring 97 sqm each using mobile partitioning walls. The room sports its own foyer and direct access to the CCD Congress Center Düsseldorf.
