Located in the green heart of the Hanseatic city, the Grand Elysée Hamburg, Germany’s largest privately owned five-star hotel, is a welcoming meeting place for locals and guests from around the world.
Generous comfort, sophisticated design and maximum functionality not only characterise our 510 rooms and suites, but also our ballroom and 30 function rooms. All rooms in are spacious with at least 30 sqm. They impress with a maximum of comfort and noble design.
The Grand Elysée’s event centre, with a total area of 4,200 sqm, is suitable for all types and sizes of gathering. Hamburg offers no other event location or conference hotel with a comparable blend of luxury, flexibility and size. In its four restaurants, two bars and one café, the property offers a unique culinary diversity all featuring excellent, attentive service and an inviting ambience.
Moreover, the hotel enjoys an excellent location: The Congress Center and the ‘Messe’ exhibition venue are both within easy walking distance, and it is only a ten-minute drive to the harbour city.

Ballroom & Grand Foyer
The core elements of the Grand Elysée Hamburg are the expansive foyer and the Grand Ballroom spread over two levels with galleries.
Our variety of integrated technologies respond to every function and requirement:
Variable lighting concept, concert acoustics system, mobile stage and dance floor equipped with screen and projector.
From the outside, you can drive right up to the Grand Ballroom, and if needed, the hall can be combined with adjoining rooms Altes Land I – IV.
