Information for organisers
As the second largest trade fair location in the new federal states, Messe Erfurt offers you everything you could possibly need: it is the perfect forum for trade fairs, conferences and congresses, live shows, concerts, company events, galas and sporting events.
The halls and the adjacent Congress Centre Erfurt feature the latest technical equipment and their construction makes this one of the most popular locations for numerous live recordings.
The trade fair site consists of a total of three halls and 25,070 m² of covered exhibition space. The Congress Centre offers six divisible seminar rooms and the Panorama Hall features a large outdoor terrace and 21,600 m² of outdoor space.
The spacious light-flooded foyers and corridors connect the individual halls and the Congress Centre and are perfect for additional exhibitions and catering. Sufficient parking spaces (a total of approx. 3,500), as well as very good transport connections to the local public transport system, are also available.

The CongressCentre - Space for ideas
All rooms can be arranged in a row, block or parliament style and offer modern technical equipment for presentations, interpreting services and shows. The largest conference room in the CongressCentre is the Carl Zeiss Hall, which is fully technically equipped for up to 726 seats and can be divided at short notice.
The foyers on all floors create a transparent atmosphere with space for exhibitions and services. In addition to the 1,600 guests who can gather at the same time in the CongressCentre, a further 5,172 seats are available thanks to the multipurpose hall, which can also be used as a congress hall.
For congresses with accompanying exhibitions, halls 2 and 3 can also be booked as multifunctional all-rounders, each offering 7,000 m² of floor space. You can get to all the building complexes quickly on foot using a covered path and these buildings provide space for a very wide range of events.

Enjoy flexibility and multifunctionality
The multipurpose hall 1, with its wide range of options for use, is the perfect location for trade fairs, concerts, sports events or company presentations. It is one of the most important hotspots for concert organisers in Germany. Up to 12,500 guests can follow rock concerts, sports events or TV productions supported by top technology here.
The high level of functionality of the hall ensures that trade fairs, congresses, concerts and events can be held alternately in short succession. The column-free construction guarantees a good view from all seats. The usable hall height of 12 metres and the high ceiling load-bearing capacity of 40 tonnes makes hall 1 a great choice for larger events.

Two identical multifunctional spaces
The two halls, each with a gross floor area of 7,000 m², are connected to hall 1 (multipurpose hall) and the outdoor grounds at Messe Erfurt by a light-flooded foyer. The 25-metre-long express route connects hall 2 with the Congress Centre and enables you to visit larger accompanying trade exhibitions using a direct and covered route.
Halls 2 and 3 have separate entrances and can be used separately or together for trade fairs, exhibitions and events.

Outdoor Area
Outdoor area for outdoor trade fairs and exhibitions
The outdoor space at Messe Erfurt comprises 21,600 m² and is located right next to the three halls, enabling large objects, such as agricultural machinery or construction technology, to be included in the tour of the trade fair during trade fairs and exhibitions. There is room for outdoor activities in the framework programme here, ranging from machine demonstrations to off-road vehicle courses and sports activities.
All-rounder outdoor area - space for your open-air event
The location of the outdoor area right next to the backstage area hall 1 (multipurpose hall) also allows it to be used for large-scale events.
