The expotec gmbh company was founded in 1995, its offices are situated in Berlin's new city centre. Since its establishment, the company has enjoyed international success as trade fair management and organisation contractors for the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.

In recent years, the company's product portfolio has been extended to include proprietary events at home and abroad. expotec gmbh has also been a member of AUMA, the Fairs and Exhibitions Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (a registered association), since June 2002.
